So...I was wondering, is there a Ranger's Apprentice Board Game?

I don’t think so, but I know there is a Ranger’s Apprentice Archery Practice app for your phone and John Flanagan has lots of quizzes and activities on his site {including stuff for Brotherband}

Never heard of such a board game even if it sound like a clever idea. Sadly the app isn't availabel in my country so I can't try it. Is it fun?

I have never played the app because my phone isn't compatible, but the online activities are interesting

I'm don't have the app either. I'd imagine that if they ever made a movie that there would be more access to games and such.

I am rather ignorant on this subject. An RA board game does sound fun though. Hmm... *starts brainstorming* I'll see what I can come up with.

Lets us know if you come up with something. I know of a place where you can custom build your own. (you can't sell it for copyright, but you could get one for yourself at least)

So far, it isn't. I'll get round to it eventually but I have about nine stories on the go so I'm a bit busy at the moment.

The games on the official site are kind of dated in my opinion, they would have been cool for the last decade maybe, but it feels like a minigame to kill time rather than an actually driving game. I think the series has potential on virtual or tabletop games though, I even thought about how it would be to have a Fire Emblem Heroes-like Ranger's Apprentice gacha game, where you collect and fight with the minor and major characters in the series, while also scoring a lot of character development and maybe even a slight touch at AUs? Well, it sounds like the most unlikely thing, but I like to think about stuff like these, haha...

I've never played Fire Emblem Heroes so I'm not sure how it works but a Ranger's Apprentice Heroes game sounds fun. Why does it sound like the most unlikely thing?

Well, the series is not very well-known due do being a book only series, plus you would need permission from John Flanagan, who wanted children to go out and play if I remember correctly. Though, if I were to make such game, instead of using orbs (it is a item that you earn by fighting or purchase with real life money, to collect characters) you would need to walk around and charge a meter to gain Seals which would take the place of orbs. This way, being physically active is encouraged too.

I see what you mean about permission and stuff. I'm afraid I'm on John Flanagan's side, activity is important and we really shouldn't just sit playing games all day everyday. (Says me, who just spent the whole day reading a book and is now on the computer) How would you make sure that people actually walked round themselves, rather than just tie their device to their dog and send it after a rabbit or something? Or would you kind of excuse that because the creative strain to actually secure it to the dog would be exercise enough? It might also be a good idea to find another object to earn. Orbs don't really sound particularly Ranger-ish. Maybe they could earn a Scandian or two to help bash people.
