So this has transitioned from a board game to a video game?

Haha, guess so. Still, the original topic ended up drifting. Do you have any ideas for a board game?

It's kinda tough to build a board game with RA because rangers use stealth all the time. At least anytime they can xD
OOH! we could have two sides, the rangers and whatever enemy they're taking down. The player in charge of the baddieswould set a number of his gruop on guard, and every turn move one of the guards. The guards would have a field of vision which can catch the rangers. If a ranger is caught thre times he is removed from the board (if were playing with two rangers only. The rangers can use their knives to take out the guards and remain unspotted, but using their bow would incite the other player, and he can move two guards on the turn a ranger strikes with his bow.
This is rough lol but it's what I've been thinking of.

It's pretty nice, I think. We could definitely go with something like this!

Thanks!xD
So, would we scale the number of rangers to the bad guys? That way we can have more or less rangers if we want to?

Make it adjustable. 1-2 rangers and 5-15 baddies. Also the number of arrows could be limited. If you really want to make it hard you could make a stamina system. Or use dice to tell accuracy

Dice to tell accuracy could work. when we roll a six sided die, the accuracy could be set by how close you are to the enemy, with increasingly higher numbers needed to hit.

What else we could do, with the dice, is roll at the begginning to place obstacles o the playing field. It would work both ways, maybe, since it would give the rangers a place to hide but close off a point of entry allowing the baddies to need less recon to cover the area.

So like have a flat map. Wooded green or something like that Have white circles with numbers When placing the baddies you roll and place on the number. The ranger can also have different positions
