November is Nanowrimo. I'm not going to have time for reading. Ah, so that's why you're going to be busy. *Nods*
I think you raised a good point about them getting a bit too powerful after Scorpion Mountain. Ingvar was the last one to get powered up, and once he did he was a tank when it came to fighting.

Ingvar WAS basically the old fashioned version of a tank. Stig was normal sized though (for a Skandian) so he shouldn't have been that impressive. (for a Skandian)

I’ve only read RA, two books of Brotherband, and none of Early Years or Royal Ranger, so I guess Ranger’s Apprentice. I was about to ask you what you’re doing for Nanawrimo, but then I realised that you’re probably not going to be very active on here, and I can probably find out on Redwall forum anyway. Given I think I know who you are on there based on your username.

I'm pretty active on here too actually. (and yes, I am who you think I am) Have you only read two Brotherband books because you didn't enjoy them that much or just because you haven't had the time to read the others?

Haven’t got the others. But do you know who I am?

Yes. Do you have a public library near you? They generally have Brotherband.

I’ve checked. They’ve only got The Ghostfaces.

Ah, that's inconvenient. I suppose you'll just have to buy the books. What a shame.

now the question is... do you have a bookshop near you?

This is the twenty-first century; bookshops aren't really necessary.

Mostly I rely on getting books for Christmas or my birthday, or getting them from the library (which probably has less YA books than my house), or my brother buying them, or randomly finding them in shops (such as Mariel of Redwall not long ago). My mum owes me the second and third Brotherband books.

So far I've read all RA-books including The Early Years and The Royal Ranger and the two first Brotherband books. I didn't get quite as hooked on the Brotherband books but I thought they were good and I think I will read the next Brotherband book sometimes around Christmas. I'm currently reading Quicksand by Malin Persson Giolitos so I'm not up to any Flanagan book at the moment. I think I would say that my favorite serie at the moment is the original Ranger's Apprentice.

Fair enough. Ranger's Apprentice is very good. (hence why we're here)
Booklover, I'd give you a BrotherBand book for your birthday if I could. (the minor issue that we're on opposite sides of the would might cause problems though) When's your birthday? I could, potentially, write you a BrotherBand fanfic for your birthday.

Hmmm... I think it might be a short story. Are there any aspects of BrotherBand that intrigue you or should I just do something random?
