What did you think of Stig's girlfriend's death? For me it seemed kind of... unnatural. It felt almost as if Flanagan got carried away then realized she had to die in the and there was only 20 pages left. For me it lacked any major emotions. She just died, it felt incomplete. Imo it could have be a bit better.

Everything could be better. I think the idea was for it to feel a bit incomplete though. Stig felt incomplete and it's our job, as readers, to feel the same. It would have felt worse if she hadn't died and Stig had stayed though. The main disappointment I had was the lack of a saga at the end.
