I highly recommend them. It can seem rather black and white at times, but it is the adventure, characters, and vivid descriptions that count.

I really like them so far and I assume they won't deteriorate as time goes on so I should enjoy the whole series, then enjoy re-reading it a couple of times, learn fluent mole speak and finally, write fanfictions about them.

To be honest, I found it so confusing I skipped over them the first few books I read. Have you listed to the audio books? They are full cast and narrated by the author. I am pretty sure there is one for almost all the books. I have listened to a few and they are really good.

I read all of the Redwall books and really liked them. It was one of the first series I got into so they shall always hold a special place in my heart. I probably can't even count how many times I've reread 'em. Well...Except for Eulelia and Doomwhte. I've only reread 'em a few times.
