This is a topic where we talk about the Ranger's Apprentice book: Halt's Peril
So I had finally finished this one a while ago, and I was wondering what you guys thought of it. I think he handled it quite well. From Horace and Will thinking he was dying, yet refusing to give up hope, to the memories of Halt that each of them kept having.

One of my favourites, I'm sure. From Halt's interactions with Will and Horace to realizing how much the charaters have developed over the previous 8 books (especially Horace), it felt amazing to read!

I liked it. When they had that funeral for Halt, I actually put the book down and refused to read anymore. That lasted about eight hours (while I was sleeping) and then I had to finish it or die with the consequences.

I feel sorry for you having to wait that long and only then finding out that it wasn’t true.

Yeah, that. It was a self inflicted torture so it's really my own fault. I could have kept reading.
