If you could be in the Ranger's Apprentice movie...

I can't do anything in front of a camera, but I would love to be doing something backstage

I guess that I would fit best as Will in such a movie. I have brown hair, browish eyes, are quite short and are in the right age for his early years.

Hmm, good question. Most of the girls have blonde hair. A few have red hair and the only ones I can think of from the top of my head with brown hair are Delia and Edwina, both of which have green eyes. I could be a minor character. There are quite a few people not described in the books. I could be one of them.
If I could be any character, despite my physical build, I'd probably choose Svengal.

Sadly, most Scandians are blonde. My hair's more dark brown than black but I suppose I could be Lydia. The Hazel eyes and olive skin are about right for me. Not sure if I'd want to play such a major part though. (Not to mention the lack of ability to play that part)

True. I guess it would still be good to find someone that looks vaguely like the character. It's also convenient if you have some of the required skills for the character you're acting. (e.g. archery if you're a ranger, really good bashing skills if you're Horace or any other knight, etc)
As far as those stuff go, I could probably play most of the girls in the series except Maddie and Lydia, if we're counting Brotherband.
