This is a topic where you can talk about the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
First question: Which did you think was the saddest death?
Second question: Who is your favorite character?
Third question: Which of the movies is your favorite?

The movies were really cool and I heard the books were cool too. I tried reading them twice now, but I guess it is just not the writing style I like.

Mum used to read the books to us for a bedtime story when we were about five. I'm currently in the process of reading them myself now.

My sister read the Hobbit to me when I was younger and I really liked it, but I haven't read it myself yet

The Hobbit is very good. My favourite part is when the dwarfs are doing the dishes.

As for wht mine are... Boromir's death was probably saddest for me... Can't...really...decide on that one... Hmm.... Samwise perhaps? I like return of the king but I like all of them too much to pick a favorite. :-P

Sounds good. I can't really remember that many details so most of what I know comes from fanfictions I've read.

Gandalf maybe? Thorin? Most of the deaths were pretty sad. Treebeard or maybe Gandalf Can’t pick a favourite out of the films.

Thorin was very sad. Gandalf was sad too but he came alive again so that's kind of cheating. (on his part)

My English teacher says that she has never read LoTR because she doesn’t like fantasy. We were looking at an extract from LoTR, but it wasn’t even from the books! It was from the film! And I was just trying to remember the ring poem. This is as much as I could remember:
Three for the Elven kings, under the sky Seven for the Dwarf Lords in their halls of stone Nine for mortal men, doomed to die In the land of Mordor, where the shadows lie One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them One ring to take them all and in the darkness bind them In the land of Mordor, where the shadows lie.
I searched it up after, and I missed out the fourth line: One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne, and in the penultimate line, it’s bring instead of take. Also, it’s three rings, not just three. But not too bad when I haven’t read the books for a long time.

Good work. I like the Black Speech version, though I haven't managed to memorize it yet.
Ash nazg durbatuluk, Ash nazg gimbatul Ash nazg thrakatuluk Agh burzum-ishi krimpatul.
That's only the second part but I can't find the rest, if it even exists.

The Black Speech version does the same for me, though I think it's supposed to.
