So what is your favorite Ranger's Apprentice book?
I've only read book 1 so far so I guess that's mine.

The Ruins of Gorlan or the Battle for Skandia. Icebound Land was good to, but to be honest I skipped most of Will and Evalan and read straight to Halt and Horace

Mine has always been book 4: Oakleaf Bearers (to some known as Battle for Skandia).

Book 4: Battle for Skandia is my number one, but Emperor of Nihon-Ja is a very close second.

Out of the first ten, Emperor of Nihon-Ja is definitely my favourite.

Out of curiosity, what do you like about Oakleaf Bearers/ Battle for Scandia? My second favourite would be Erak's Ransom.

Okay. I like learning a bit more about Halt's past.
